I am blessed with so many amazing father’s in my world. I adore that even though my daughter doesn’t get to see her father often she is not at a loss for understanding a father’s role. She is blessed with uncles (biological and chosen), friends, a godfather and a grandfather that put her up on a pedestal. She is shown how girls should be loved, respected and treated.
As she gets older I don’t worry about her because I know she will always be surrounded by love. That love is complete by all of the men setting an amazing example for her beginning from before she was born.
Today and always, those men are (should be) celebrated. Don’t forget to say Happy Father’s Day to the special men in your life. You might not realize just how much it means to them.
