Before I was JustaBXmom Fashion Week was something I looked forward to not because of the show but because of the after parties and the stories from my friends working the event. Since becoming a mom my world and priorities have shifted. I’ve also gotten a bit older (shh, don’t tell nobody). I still have friends that work the event but we’re all (most) at a place where we really don’t want to spend our nights out somewhere with too loud music, in too high heels and too short dresses! Yup, I’m officially old.
Still, when I received invites to two mommy and me fashion shows I couldn’t miss them. The first show I was invited to was the Vicky Zhang show and sadly I could not attend but our friends over at Being A Good Mama filled in for us! I’m so happy these beauties could cover the show because from their footage it looked amazing. And the Littlest Critter looked too cute and fashionable to be anywhere but at the show!
The second show was a 9p show so I left JustaBXgrandpa in charge of bedtime and headed out. Inhaling the air of NYFW definitely transported me to a different time of my life and then I yawned and realized a 9p anything was pushing my bedtime! The Jia Liu show was well worth staying up late for. 
Vicky Zhang & Jia Liu shows were really beautiful events. They also supplied great ideas for the coming season for both casual and formal attire. Can’t wait for next Fashion Week to bring JustaBXgirl to her first fashion show and hopefully after that have her walking in a few shows!!!
