JustaBXgirl loves grabbing her personal DVD player and finding a corner to check out her rather large collection. She puts on headphones and gives me a peek at what is to come in my future when she’s a teenager. I know when Christmas comes she’s going to be excited to add a few new titles to her DVD collection. Saved By The Bell: The Complete Collection– If you’re anything like me as soon as you read the title you started singing the theme song. Then you probably started thinking about your favorite episode. Trust me, I’m with you. I was a huge fan of the show growing up. Did you know this box set even includes Good Morning, Miss Bliss?! Yup, you get to hang out with Zack Morris and crew from junior high through college with this set!
The Originals Complete Series – I don’t remember how I happened upon this series but once I found it I was hooked. At times I loved each of the Mikaelson brood and at times I hated each. I definitely had a thing for Marcel, I mean, have you seen him? Now I can borrow JustaBXgirl’s personal DVD player and curl up in a corner to binge watch without having to worry about if my internet connection drops!
Mister Rogers – It’s You I Like– I try to teach JustaBXgirl that it is important to grow kindness in our world and who better to reinforce that lesson than Mister Rogers. He is everyone’s favorite neighbor and I love introducing him to JustaBXgirl as such an important part of my childhood. Oh, and in case you wondered the visit to the Crayola crayon factory is included in this tribute!
Super Why – Little Bo Peep and Her Sheep – We have always loved Super Why but now that JustaBXgirl can actually read this show has taken on a whole new meaning in our home. This is a cute little adventure with the Super Readers.
The Sound of Music Live – Can I tell you a secret? I have never seen The Sound Of Music. How does it make this list then? Well, it is the live version of The Sound of Music and everyone knows it is a great story even if they didn’t see it. And I have some friends that loved the original so I believe it will be a wonderful gift for them.
Hello Kitty & Friends – Let’s Learn Together – Hello Kitty is here to help our little ones learn. Littles will love going through their colors, letters and, numbers with the help of Kitty and her friends. This is a perfect gift for the littles in your life. It comes on two discs so make sure to get both one and two.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas: The Ultimate Edition – If you remember waiting for The Grinch to show up on your TV as a child to know the holidays were really here the wait is no longer. Now you can bring that Grinch home, along with The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat and Halloween is Grinch Night. Yup, those are new for me too. JustaBXgirl has never had the patience for live broadcasts of holiday specials so I’m looking forward to curling up with some hot chocolate and checking this out for a new (old) tradition.
Nature Cat – Winter Dance Party – This is a great way to introduce littles to the Winter Solstice. Will Daisy be able to have her Winter Solstice Dance Party when she forgets to prepare for it? Is there a lesson to learn? You bet there is!
