JustaBXgirl and JustaBXgrandpa headed to an advance screening of the film, A Dog’s Way Home, last week while this mama had to work. Since they’ve seen the movie not a day goes by that JustaBXgirl doesn’t bring up that I need to go see the movie. If that doesn’t tell you she enjoyed it then I’m not sure what will.
When they got home from the movie, I asked each if they liked the movie. I can’t lie. I worried that JustaBXgrandpa wouldn’t be that into it because from the trailers it didn’t seem like the type of movie I would think he’d love. He told me (and later a friend over the phone) that it was a really good family friendly movie. He said it was a great movie to take the kids to see but to be prepared because there are some parts that can be sad and scary for the little ones. JustaBXgirl is a little sensitive when it comes to movies. Nowhere next to as sensitive as she used to be but she is still touched by sad and scary scenes.
She admitted that there were a few parts of the movie that worried her but that she was happy she stuck it through to the end. She loved Bella. Bella is the main character in the movie. Bella finds herself on a 400-mile journey to find her owner, Lucas after she gets lost. That journey seems to be quite the journey! It took Bella two years to get home and on her way, she had many adventures and made many friends.
