I have done Easter basket coverage almost since the blog started. You can find posts on Tips for the Perfect Basket, How to host an indoor egg hunt, baskets ideas for specific niches, gamers, outdoor fun, creative kids, and even some last-minute ideas for when you forget it is almost Easter. You can go through all of those and get some ideas.
Or you can scroll and check out some of the fun that I will be including in JustaBXgirl’s basket this year. We will be spending Easter at home again. We are just not ready for in-person events even at a limited capacity. Since we will be at home celebrating this year I am only making her an Easter basket. It seems like the days of me being Auntie Easter Bunny might be gone. My nieces and nephews are getting older and the ones that are young enough to enjoy the baskets aren’t near enough for me to drop them off.
Hopefully, JustaBXgirl will enjoy getting them for years to come. Anyway, enough of me reminiscing, let’s got to business.
Eggcellent Easter Mazes – Since we really have no place to go right now we can get lost in these puzzles. They’re fun images and a great way to get littles thinking. Sitting and doing these is a great way to start the day before an indoor egg hunt.
Look & Find Easter Hunt – After the indoor egg hunt is done we can sit back on the couch and go for a Look & Find hunt. When JustaBXgirl was little these were her favorite types of activity books. I figure that I have a very small window left where she will sit and do these things with me. I am going to enjoy it for as long as I can.
Hatchimals Colleggtibles Wilder Wings – We love colleggtibles. There are fifty of these to collect and we want them all. Adding them to the Easter basket just makes sense. We love that their wings are interchangeable. That makes the play possibilities endless.
Mabel’s Labels – There is nothing as cool as being able to label all of your stuff. We have been using Mabel’s Labels for years and will be using them for years to come. I love how many different styles they have and that they can truly be used for everything!
Spa*rkle 4 Dual-Tip Nail Pen Set Mermaid Glitter – Before COVID-19 turned our world upside down nail polish and designs were only for special occasions. JustaBXgirl hasn’t asked me lately if she can have her nails done because we haven’t done much celebrating. Including this in her Easter basket is going to make her squeal with delight. It is also my way of reminding myself that every day can be a special occasion. I’m planning a mommy and me mani day once she opens this. This set is simple enough that she can do mine and stylish enough that my niece that does nails will want one of her own!
Tippies – I absolutely love these things. I really contemplated keeping them for myself instead of adding them to JustaBXgirl’s Easter basket. They are adorable and are wonderful fidget toys. They tip over and get back up again. There are two styles (Disney and Peanuts) and ten in each style to collect.
Gudetama Charaction Cube -What fits better into an Easter basket than a Lazy Egg??? I have loved Gudetama since the first time that JustaBXgirl introduced me to him. She’s gotten into Rubik’s Cubes so this is a great combo piece for her. I see her placing it on her desk to play with during class.
Tamagotchi On – If you’ve been here a while then you know we are big Tamagotchi fans. And you also know that the only type of pet I’m down to have is the virtual type so this is always a good idea in our home. The fact that this connects us to an app that allows the play to go beyond the Tama is awesome.
Disney Princess Petite Dolls – Tiana, Moana, Ariel, Rapunzel, Anna, and Elsa were sent to us and they are very welcomed to our doll collection. These 6-inch dolls make a great addition to any Easter baskets. They are also the perfect sized toy to take along with you on adventures. They fit easily into most bags and we all know that a Disney Princess is always up for adventures. My Disney Princess saw these (before I could hide them) and decided that a certain someone needed to move right into her dollhouse. Then he asked if she could give one to her baby doll in the doll’s Easter basket!
