We’ve all found a gazillion toddler selfies on our camera rolls. The thing is, these littles get bigger. The forehead selfies quickly turn into wanting to take photos of their favorite toys, a worm on the sidewalk after it rains, or a picture of half-eaten chicken nuggets. I’m not sure about you, but my camera can only hold so many of these. Plus, sometimes it’s just not convenient to pass your little your phone so that they can take a photo. Don’t worry, Kidamento has you covered.
Kidamento truly offers the cutest kid’s digital cameras. And the cameras aren’t just cute, they’re durable too. Kidamento cameras are designed for ages 3-10. They have 3 models available that each offers its own benefits.
We have the Model P – Koko Panda. Oh, did I not mention that these cameras come with the most adorable animal faces and stickers to decorate them? Yup, I’m betting some of your tweens would be loving using these as a fashion accessory! They also come with a lanyard attachment that serves as a camera strap. It gives an added layer of protection from the camera slipping out your littles hands. Don’t worry though, the cameras themselves in their animal facades are easy to grip so even without the lanyard there isn’t much chance of slippage. I’m a butterfingers so I make sure to use the strap when JustaBXgirl asks me to hold her camera.
The model we have takes 12-megapixel images and I worried that JustaBXgirl would be underwhelmed by that but she hasn’t complained once. If you’re looking for better quality photos then check out the Model K. It shoots up to 48 megapixels. The Model K offers two animal options, Zippy The Sloth or Meowie The Cat. Neither print which is why we went with Koko The Panda in Model P. Did I forget to mention that it is an instant print camera???
Yup, and when they say instant, they mean instant. The pictures print in seconds. It is so cool to watch. As a parent that grew up having to buy expensive film for my instant camera, I was worried that the gift of a printer might become a curse down the road. Rest assured it has not. The printer is a thermal printer and the rolls last for a long time, you don’t have to freak out when you see the printed chicken nugget photos all over the place.
In fact, finding the random photos of LEGO builds and barbie dolls will help you see the world through your littles eyes a bit. Seeing their selfies printed and randomly left around the house will remind you to take time to enjoy them while they’re little. And if you have a bigger little like I do, sitting with them and going through their photos together not only allows for some one-on-one time but gives you the opportunity to ask your child questions. Ask why they chose the object they photographed. Point out your favorite part of the photo. Allow them to take a photo of you. Please allow them to take photos of you. Have fun picking out a filter for your photo. Kidamento offers some really fun additions to the photos. Our favorite is the bee filter.
Another thing I love about this camera is that you can print photos from your phone as well if you download the app. Yup! I’m regularly asking to borrow it so that I can print my own photos because I can’t get over how cute they come out. We’ve checked out other kid cameras in the past but they have nothing on Kidamento.
Wow sooo awesome I love the cute covers too. This is a nice gift maybe for Christmas
Perfect for Christmas or birthdays
My daughter loves to take my phone for pics so this is the perfect solution. Gracias
