Summer Must-Haves

Summertime is around the corner and if you’re like me then you can’t wait. I was recently reminded that I’m not a true content creator and just a Bronx mom sharing my mom thoughts with all of you. A few content creators that I follow are already working on their back-to-school and fall fun content and here I am living in real-time. As I type this, I’m still waiting for a few of my summer must-haves to arrive because I can only plan so far ahead. Don’t worry, I feel confident sharing them with you because this post includes things that we use regularly.

Föm Mania^™ Quickshot Foam Blaster™ – This is the brand new addition to the Föm Mania^™ line and we are super excited to get out and play with them. I included the Fomalanche and original foam blaster in last year’s summer must-haves. If you don’t have those already, I suggest picking them up to go with the new quickshot blasters. We love that the new version comes with two blasters. We will be using them all summer.

Balloobles – HOPS loves Bluey and bubbles so it goes without saying that she went wild for the Balloobles. We use bubbles pretty much year-round but there is nothing like sitting outside in the summer with bubbles and giggles. The bubble blower allows HOPS to be in full control of endless bubbles.

Fubbles No-Spill® Fun-Finiti Bubble Machine – Endless bubbles are just what we get with the Fun-Finiti Bubble Machine. Remember how I said we are year-round learners? This is perfect for some movement time. Who can resist chasing bubbles in the sun?

Keep Going First Aid Kit – I am not a prepared mama so when I learned about the Keep Going First Aid Kit I knew it was something that I needed. It works for travel, it works for a quick errand run, it works on local outings, and it works at home. Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these earlier. We are on the go a lot in the summer months and I bet you are too. Don’t get caught without first-aid needs like I have.

Once Upon a Book Club – JustaBXgirl loves reading. When I saw the opportunity to check this out I knew it was something she would love. This is the ideal summer treat even if your littles aren’t avid readers. The Once Upon Book Club is a monthly subscription box that includes wrapped gifts labeled with page numbers. You open the gifts as you read. It creates a new reading experience. The book is brought to life before with items pulled directly from the descriptions in the story and placed right in your hands! Best part? They offer boxes for ages 7+. Yup, you can get your own box. I’m about to add this to my birthday list.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid & Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 – We have been fans of the Black Girl Sunscreen line since we got to review it last year. It is now the only type of sunscreen that JustaBXgirl will use. We were both super excited when we realized it was doing a Little Mermaid collaboration this year. JustaBXgirl asked me to order a bunch so she can always channel her inner mermaid when using.
