Mother’s Day Gift Guide – Kidult Edition

Mother’s Day Gift Guide – Kidult Edition

We received many of these items for review purposes. As always, all opinions are honest and my own. This post contains affiliate links.

Time is not on my side. I wanted to do a few different Mother’s Day Gift Guides this year, because contrary to popular belief, we don’t all want the same thing! Looking at my calendar, I realize that I will be posting one Mother’s Day Gift Guide. I decided to make it a Kidult Edition because the other day I saw the best quote, and this is my agreement to it. The quote said something like, “My family looks to me for all of the answers, but I’m really a 40-something-year-old teenager living out my teenage dreams.”

We deserve to honor our unmet needs from childhood. We keep the world spinning for all of those who depend on us, and we deserve some fun. I’m here to give you a list of things that you might not have realized you even wanted until now. Even though, I would put money on the fact that some of these are in your home right now and you bought them for your littles because you knew your inner child would love them. Let that inner child out, mama.

Frody Frenchy The World’s Softest Plush – Plushies are hugely loved in our home. JustaBXgirl and I each have our own, and I am not embarrassed to say Frody is the type of plushie we fight over. Frody is so soft and huggable. He is such a comfort to curl up with.

DIY Floaty Pens – I’m a big stationery girl. I love a good pen, a pretty notebook, and all things glitter. We saw these at Toy Fair, and I knew that I would have to get my hands on them. This kit comes with three to make, so it’s a gift that can keep on giving.

Duckees – I have a thing for ducks. I have a heap of rubber ducks, but now I want to collect all of these. I need one with me everywhere. Not only are they soft and adorable, but the filling gives me something to fidget with.

Hunny Crew – I am on the search for the Pooh and Piglet one, but I won’t be disappointed with whichever I unbox. I need them all to put on my Winnie The Pooh shelf. And at their price point of $10, I won’t be disappointed with duplicates!

Crazy Aaron’s Better Butter Thinking Putty – Crazy Aaron’s has been a favorite in our home for years. Even JustaBXgrandpa loves it. This one is all mama’s, though. It is super smooth, and the tin is something that I can easily throw in my bag.

Squish Berries – These are another perfect size to throw in your bag. The scent is soft and isn’t overpowering. They can help keep your bag smelling fresh, while giving you a quick, quiet fidget. They are soft, squishable, and fit in the palm of your hand. And with only four to collect in this series, it’s a simple one to complete.

Water Pets – These bag charms are another great fidget on the go. If you’re not ready to commit to the plush bag charms, these are a great option. I love squeezing the bag. It’s really calming. The bags are sealed, so you don’t have to worry about your fish running away!

The Sober Curious Activity Book – A lot of moms are beginning to turn away from “Wine Mom” culture. This is a fun book to allow moms ways to honor themselves. You might ask what this has to do with being a kidult, and I’m here to share that I believe kidults are people simply honoring who they are, and so is this book. Some of the activities include creating a relaxation playlist, coloring, making gratitude lists, and helping change negative thoughts to positive ones.

Make It Real Deluxe Swift Clicks Bracelet Studio – This is perfect for the non-creative creatives like me. I love wearing and gifting bracelets. This makes them simple to create. They’re colorful and quality beads. And you’re able to customize colors and words to make it uniquely you.

Q.Kid Wave Club Blind Box – You might have seen JustaBXgirl and me unbox these on Instagram. They are cute and small and have the best names. You can collect these and let your littles know how you’re feeling based on which Q.Kid you hang from your bag. I keep Focus with me often to remind me to stay focused!

David’s Cookies – Kidults usually love a good snack. David’s Cookies has you covered with cakes, cookies, brownies, and more. I’ve been an affiliate for about a year, and I’m still finding new items to check out monthly.
