Autumn Reading List

Autumn Reading List

We received many of these titles for review purposes. As always, all opinions are honest and my own. This post contains affiliate links.

It seems like I just finished my Summer Reading List, and now it’s time to share our Autumn Reading List. It also seems, at least in NYC as though Autumn is going to have us wishing to curl up with a warm drink, under a comfy blanket, with our favorite book friends. As the littles get settled back into the school year and we all adjust to the whimsy of Mother Nature, we wanted to share some fun reads to balance the assigned reading.

The Beginner’s Guide To Being A Wizard (Bookshop) – Did you know that Wizards need snacks? Well, maybe they do, maybe they don’t. You’ll have to pick up the book to find out! Let me know when you master the Spell of Maybe. This is a fun read and will have little wizards in training using it as a great how to guide.

Frights To Tell At Night A Coven of Witches (Bookshop) – This magical tome is broken into three sections because, as I learned in the book, three is an important number in witchcraft. The three sections are Mythological, Folkloric, and Historical. We will be reading this book year round because we love tales like these.

Clutter Rehab (Bookshop) – I feel like at the beginning of every season I feel the need to clean house and purge all the things. Yet, after my big purges, I still have way too much clutter. Using this book to get me through this cycle of decluttering. I appreciate that it gives simple tips that don’t overwhelm me.

The Yellow Postcard (Bookshop)

All The Ways We Learn (Bookshop) – This book should be in every classroom from elementary schools through doctorate programs. We all learn differently, and this book helps to normalize it by sharing some ways that we might learn. I appreciate the end of the book includes definitions for different learning abilities as well as examples of accommodations that can be used.

Willie Boy Eats The World (Bookshop) – Do not read this book on an empty stomach. It is a wonderful tour of international delicacies as we are introduced to different foods from WillieBoy and Steve’s friends. This can be the story that gets those selective eaters to taste something new. Or this might be the tale that helps you meal plan for the week!

Monsters Love Brownies (Bookshop) – Okay, you had to see this one coming. You know we are fans of this series. And I’m a fan of brownies. You can just call me a monster who loves brownies. Seriously, we will just keep adding these to our shelf so please keep writing them!
